that was surprisingly kickass
To tell you the truth, I wasn't expecting much at first when i saw that the words were to be read and the voices were odd sounds, because quite often the best flash will have good voice acting, but you made it work so well. It's definately an original style, as you've been told a million times, but i just wanted to emphasize how well your style worked for you. I mean in seconds, I went from "not expecting much out of it" to laughing uncontrollably.
The humor was wonderful, well-timed, and relatively innocent (save the indication of intended violence). Straight up, you've got talent. I cannot wait for the later episodes. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for the thoughtful review. You enjoyed the little guys in just the way I had intended. Though not always for everyone, those who like it, like it alot.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome.Very original and diffrent.I like how you didn't copy off things and just came up with something very fresh and new.Keep up the good work.
You are a very funny person :D
Godly... I thank you for making me laugh insanely, When I first looked at it the only thing that went through my mind was "what the hell is this" I was bored so I kept watching and thank god I did, 10/10 can't wait for more
This is really cool.
I like this a lot. But to make it even better I think that you should use little to no text at all, and instead use facial expressions, movement, symbols, and pictures to illustrate what's going on. It will have a really neat effect when paired with the sounds that the creatures make, which should not be overdone because they're brash and annoying as hell… For instance, think of when Sedrick was telling Duncan his plan to capture Greevil and throw him off of a cliff. There could have been a “light bulb” to show that he had an idea, and then a little text bubble over his head depicting a small animation of them carrying out those actions instead of boring, old text. When Sedrick was saying that Greevil was “evil,” he could have had a thought or text bubble depicting Greevil with devil horns, a trident, and a tail, just like your everyday-run-of-the-mill Satan. Then Duncan could have patted Greevil on the head and had a text bubble showing Greevil with a halo and angel wings. When Sedrick wanted to kill Greevil with the cleaver, instead of saying “Don’t hurt him!” with text, Duncan could have moved in front of Greevil to protect him from Sedrick.
Also, this is clearly not for children. Anyone who says that is uneducated, ignorant about parenting, and determined to make society worse than it is.
Thanks for the suggestions, they are very good ideas. To be honest, I had actually considered just this when I started out. I went the other way, as it were.
Thanks again for the review.
If only this was released when I was a lad :D But I've watched loads of other cool stuff. Kids would definitely like this. Is this series going to continue? How about brokering a tv deal, and get it on, so children can watch it?
Now that would be awesome.
I have plans to broadcast these guys in the future, but only once I get enough episodes to make a 22 minute pilot.
A short film about a park bench
