I find a startling overall semblence to an email I read a few years ago about someone writing to a talk show host, questioning if he should smite his neighbour for disliking the smell that is pleasing to the Lord.
Still, you added some stuff in and you put in good graphics and I enjoyed all that. Just a bit more animation of the characters would be nice. Good lip synching, though.
I'm going to take a different approach here...
I'm going to say that this was a well drawn, well thought out, and over-all hilarious flash. Rather than using this review to spout out my beliefs (or lack there of) I'm simply going to say that I wish it were a bit longer, but laughed my ass off at it. Good Job, Keep up the good work.
i busted a gut on this one!
I'm a Christian, but what's funny is funny. I don't give a shit what your personal beliefs are, christians and atheists and everyone in between, lighten up! Life's too short to bashing each other for any other reason than for the pure fun of it.
Look to Other Sources
It seems like a lot of the people that are reviewing this are taking stances either promoting Christianity (which isn't a bad thing in and of itself) or denouncing pretty much all salvationist religions (which isn't a bad thing in and of itself either).
If you want to read a well written series of books that tackles many hard concepts with religion and might give you a turn, try picking up Ishmael by Daniel Quinn.
Anyway, excellent job on the animation, pretty funny to take an extremist point of view and then really take it to the extremes, and an excellent farce for our day and age. I wonder if one of your next flashes might tackle the issue of differing sects of Christianity and how there is almost always this low-level conflict among them, like having Peter Godly run across John Godly, a just as fervent zealot who believes in a different interpretation.....
highly original stuff!
Hey man the previous Review by RedRaven24 sounds like a pretty solid idea for an episode!
Keep up the good work!
An indirect Sequel to "The Artist" shows the life of the salaryman
Cornelius & Toots are back, and a Haunted House Ride seems a little spookier than usual!
