Here's a 2005 remake of my first Flash animation, with enhanced graphics and sound!

Song credits:
Michael Laskaris: Rhythm guitars, vocals, backing vocals, cowbell, one lick of lead, two notes of bass
Michael Butler: Drums, bass, lead guitar, additional backing vocals, cowbell looping
Marianna Davis: Fiddle
Song written by M. Laskaris
Song produced and engineered by M. Butler

Animation, Vector Art and Photography by: Michael Laskaris

Production Notes:
The song was recorded during October of 2003, but I didn't get around to doing the animation until late 2004/early 2005. I've wanted to do a better version of "I Like My Women Inbred" for a very long time. It's still no masterpiece, but at least I'm not ashamed of it. It's a definite improvement over the original. I think the art looks much cleaner, and that's what I was going for.

"Nice"

date: August 12, 2008

I really enjoyed this. Great job.
And to Tosko, he's supposed to sound like a drunk hillbilly, since thats what the song is about... Do you actually think his voice normally sounds like that?

"Hillbilly Hell!"

date: August 8, 2006

This is what i think it like to be a hillbilly , frankly. Its funny to think about what real hillbillies do in there time. Other than what the song was mentioning. Great work! ...a little akward...
But i respect that.../\_/\

"Damn straight - it's a massive improvement."

some selected aspects
===================

+++ Yeah, the vector art is great. I really like the way it just all seems so 'confident'. I'm not sure how to explain it better than that... well, you have all these clean pics flashing up and you're unafraid to limit the animation and don't go into more complexity than necessary. You know exactly what's needed and you do the work where it'll reap results.

++ I quite like the photo bgs.

++++ The song's really clean - I can hear each instrument beautifully and the jokes in the lyrics really come across because I don't have to be looking down all the time.

++ Surprise ending!

+ Pork rind transition!

+ funky scrolling text

Erm... again I can't see any flaws and can only suggest possible additions.

- you could have had more freaks.

- Why don't you include the full credits for the song and stuff within the flash?

- Maybe you should have ended with the same credits in the left-hand corner like at the start?

overall
========

Darn straight it's a massive improvement. Looking back, I think the gfx of the first may have distracted me from the jokes in the song. This time, it's all good and left me with a smile on my face.
