Tips: Harder difficulty (in the game options) result in higher score!
CONTROL PROBLEMS such as "can't shoot straight down", try to redefine your control keys in the game options, because some computer keyboard has some limitations in the keys be pressed together.
(sometimes data exchange may fail or be slow, for my server is in the other side of earth)
Other improvements include Bugs fixed and difficulty was adjusted to a acceptable range. The most familiar and popular Level:Jungle was attached into this game as a "warm up" level etc...

i see you are a true contra fan more so than me i loved contra so did every one else in this world but unlike them we will never forget never it is imbeted into our minds for eternity hahahahahahahhahaah...... just kidding yeah contra is one of the best games of all time on the nintendo console world and yeah it did help us grow endless hours trying to beat that game and up,up,down,down,left,right,left,right,a,a,b,b,select,start damn that was one of the best times of my life and thank you for sharing it with me once again thank you for being so true homie keep on doing it never stop make something that the world will get into CONTRA ONCE AGAIN

Right off, what came to mind was "RPG Maker... Damn I hate that program." And next was, "What's the point of this? If I wanted to play Contra, I'd just play The Alien Wars. "And I must say, it seems those two sum it all up.
