This was animated and drawn very well, as well the music and sound are great. Drawing your own loader screen is also a plus. Though the emoticon fighting this is pretty original, the fighting in the movie is very much like that of Dragonball,but everything syncs up perfectly, nice job and good luck in the future

That was a relly good flash make a squial to this one possibaly what they where achualy fighting for I aulso liked that they relly kicked ass and who exzatly was the good guy the animatin was extremly top natuch and it was relly fun to watch inform me if you make another one cause i want to see more of your work
I loved this little music video battle of the emoticons idea. A lot of the effects remind me of gel. The music fit well, the stylized screen sices sliding into position all worked really well with the overall feel of the video. Very nice work.
It was pretty good. The characters were a little weird, but that's something I'm gonna have to deal with. The music was great, though!

I liked the idea, but it jsut didnt come together right. I mean, it says war, but it gets down to a 1v1 fast, too fast
I liked the animation, but you the animation turned from awesome (the beggining) to odd (the 1 on 1). Include more types of combat, not just the repetetive Dragon Ball Z shoot a blue ball stuff, then it'll be a great animation.
actually, you know what would have been even better? pitting those FUCKING FUNNY-BUDDIES crap in a headlong bloodbath for the UNIVERSAL KING OF ANNOYING POP-UPS ON MSN MESSANGER!!! but i think that emicon thinggy where you can blow him up came out, and that would be rather coppying. great movie. i was rooting for the Robot though
Was really good, but the sound was out of sink at the start. At the end there was no sound. I take it the sound was played as an event, rather than streaming it. Apart from that great work. Look forward to what you do next

That was cool man, great artwork and animation. The song wasn't as action packed as the events unfolding and the premise of emoticons seemed to limit your potential. I think you could make a truly badass flash, excluding emoticons.

I loved the "comic book" style of the animation and the music was a good choice in spite of it being a bit shorter than the animation. Very good.
not my faverioute genre......of toon didnt find it entertaining really coz i dont like the genre....music really cool though...fighting scenes where good i mean very good...um what else...oh yeah the lil dude with the guitar wuz good..but yeah........just keep it up...people who like that genre should love your toon..but i dont like the genre.......so to me it was pretty good

may i suggest that since they are emoticons you can exploit the humor here by making the expressions on the faces fixed, ie, happy is always happy, crying is always crying, and if they go to war like that it might be funny. Right now they are all angry pacmen, make it more emoticony, but good job very good

I always love a flash with a original and creative idea. This was certainly one of them. I got interested from the start when the computer turned itself on and one smiley started play the guitar. The fighting was intense and the good choice of song enhanced that in a great way. The only bad thing I can say is to make more sub-fights. I mean there was really only one fight because the tankish robot smiley muked everyone else early on. But great job and Id definitely look for more of your work in the future.4/5

the music wuz shitty. i hated it. but i did like one thing, and that's the way the emoticons moved around. it wuz smooth.
for your next one you should have like goku and his army vrs a super breed of icons that have never been beaten ever but are about to take over all the icons territories. and so u hafta battle alongside your enemies to take out this super army..

It certainly is something I have not seen before on this site. The uniquess is what makes this good. The graphics where pretty good considering the content, and the sound could have been better, and I appriciated it was not an overtly bloody video. Overall, a unique take on what we normally see as "emotion-cons"

This was excellent flash.. i loved it completely the cartoons were great, and the style was awsome. I like the type of animation you chose and to use binds was good .. more 3-d effect.

That was sweet. Everything was perfect, except for one thing: The nuke explosion was too small. But everything about this movie is sorta outta line with physics, so whatever.
Great flash, kick ass graphics, total gold. BUT why must you revert to the same old DBZ style battles and generic "energy" attacks. It looks like you started with a good idea, but ran out of stuff half way through, and decided to just throw in some anime, cause every one like anime. Still nice try

I liked it! it was an awesome idea man-good job making it happen. the only thing i would work on is the very beginning where the music pauses. i would try to make the guitar guy a little more in sync with the music...other than that, great job!

That song was just perfect for it, your animating skills are breath taking.. Please make more or something like it. It got a 5 for violence because it was a war.. (makes sense, no?) Sound I explained, Style was 6 because Alot of poeple just do senseless fighting.. not very original. Still, this is going into my favorites of all time.

Fun idea, but I have to agree, it would have been interesting to put some of your originally created battle scenes instead of the cliched 'dbz-im-pissed-watch-me-power-up-and-go-ssj'... We all know that concept is running on E and it's nothing special because it seems anything can go ssj these days..
but again, good idea, great animation... and the sound was good except for when it ended just shy of the actual, uh, ending...

The only thing I didn't like, was that some parts resembled dbz, and I hate that shit. It wasn't too bad though, since I was getting into the movie, it was tolerable. Keep up the kick ass animation.

i can't belive that. that was amazing, one of the best things iv seen, you should make more stuff just like this. bring some more talent to NG. if you look around, you can have trouble finding it...but ya nice flash you got killer skills
I loved the way you had those semi-transparent black lines over the screen when we were looking at the monitor and the design of the mecha emoticon was rather kick-ass too.
Some parts, like the nuking, could have been a tad faster for an even more hyper pace and maybe more of the fighting emoticons shown.
Also, at the end, it's a bit unclear - is that the last grey dude scoring a minor victory whilst there's still many yellows surviving? Or have the yellows been losing their lives off-screen? Some sort of final shot showing the fallen, the remaining fighters and such might have been nice.
Although that's really down to personal taste.
In any case, the animation was lovely and the action was timed rather well to the music, which fitted perfectly in mood.

This... wasn't that good. The animation wasn't bad and the music was great but it lacked in other areas. It got sort of boring and generic after a short time and i found my mind wandering off... I ended up watchin the Chinese food place episode of Seinfeld halfway through this cartoon because it began to bore me. You've got some degree of skill for making the movies themselves but i think you need to come up with some better ideas for the videos you make
I give it a 6 for having good animation, good idea, and a good song. but I had to close it because it started looking too much like DBZ, which I think sucks total ass.

And it was a bit short, it was supposedly a war but everything got wiped out in the beginning. I dunno, could just be me.

Before watching this movie i thought "omg i like emoticons-movies and this one is frontpage so it must be great!" but then it seemed to be quit....boring actually. The graphics were good, but thats about it. Work on a storyline or something, and i'm sure it will be great. That's all i can say.

Seen better, but still, this shit is really original and well animated!!! I didn't really like the music (that guitar is cool though), but it gives some style to the movie cause it fits, and is better than most shit we watch in flashes these days... That's why I gave it an 8...

The guitar emoticon at the beginning? He's not playing in synch with the music because he slides up on the neck when the music goes lower and down on the neck when it goes higher. This is IMPOSSIBLE.
Other than that, it was animated well and very stylized.

it was interesting to watch but has not plot. No beginning or that serious of conflict. It was like "hey i can destroy the world" and "hey i'm here to save it". --;; cliche
and isnt that what silly flashes are about. Good artwork doesnt require a good plot...obviosly its his idea.....let him make his own shit. good job tho.
Maybe it's just cause there's so much crap on tele but yeah the plot was intriguing but a little confusing, like why the yellow guy killed everyone. The ending was a little too dbz for my liking but still a good flash all together, 9/10 from me
Highly stylized and amusing to watch, what more can I say. Nothin too complicated about it, just a very entertaining short that I recommend.

It was a bit confusing and hard to follow at times, but the idea was cool, the animation was good and the song was cool and well-fitting. Good work.

That was really cool. I agree with what a lot of the other people who reviewed it though, it reminded me of dbz, but whatever. It was still good. And I loved the song, it worked well. Good job.
That was good, nice graphics, but there should have been more fighting. It would be cool if you could make a game of it, liek a side scroller where you choose your character and can unlock more. Also the big bad machine could be the last boss.
It was pretty good man, decent job, but for future reference....no dbz...ever...again.
