OK, it wasn't the best game in the world, but it wasn't bad at all, i liked that you took the concept of the snake and acctually put it outdoors, it made a lot of sense! The changing levels (not to mention how long each one was) made it quite challenging. It's farily nerveracking when you have a 30 link snake and all of a sudden the rocket power up shows up and you have to navigate the thing around real fast.
This brings me to the power-ups, very very cool touch, but maybe a bit more thought could go into them? with the exception of the coins, which im assuming is a points boost, maybe some more posative ones would make things a bit more balanced? you seemed to be going for a random thing since all the power-up balls are blue "?"s, but with only one posative one, its not all that random.
Next, I've played this game a couple times now (about 20 i think) and it seems to have trouble deciding what constitutes an obsticle that hurts you, and what's scenery. this seems to be especially true with the smaller pebbles / rocks. Also, it kind of bugs me that you went to all the trouble of making the WORLD pretty and realistic, but the SNAKE is just red dots that aren't even connected. An acctual snake probabaly wold have netted you a 4 insead of a 3.
Finally, id like to adress the people that can't seem to get over your changes. For the love of all things holy and unholy, get over yourselves! Games evolve, they change, cause if they don't, they get boring. Yes, this is diferent, but if it wasn't, all the comments would read "its just a snake clone" honestly, the two way turning, make a whole lot more sense in this more realistic style.
not bad, little more adjusting here and there, it could be freaking awsome.
