You're not an artist, fighter, or musician... Why did you make a flash centered around 3 things you yourself say you're not good at? I don't want to be rude, but... That doesn't even make sense. If you're new to flash, best to stick with sprites. Also, the only comedy in the flash is stuff 8-bit has already done, so you saying it isn't a rip off of 8-bit doesn't make a whole lot of sense, either. Hell, the most detailed thing in the entire movie was the sword chucks. I know this review is harsh, and sorry if I've offended you. I'm just a big fan of FF and 8-bit Theatre, and I call em' as i see em'. Since NG Policy is for a review to be constructive criticism, I'll say this. If your aim is to make people laugh, try doing short funnies to learn flash. I don't know if White Mage secretly having a sword is supposed to be some kind of joke, or if it was supposed to be badass or what, but as far as comedy goes, it's not a bad idea.

Although the movie had a good story and lots of violence, It was lacking in some areas, mostly graphics and sound (until i saw the front view of the sprite, i thought WM was naked!). With a little practice, It could get better, and you could become a great flash artist.

And I know how you feel about the FF1/8-Bit comics thing, I noticed that too. The best way to do it is not have the characters act the same way as their 8 bit counterparts, especially Fighter (which you gave swordchucks and ruined the idea of having no 8 bit influences). Hope you make more movies, you got the potential to be one of the best.

I think it would have been better without all the FF type graphics because it was to bluury for the people. I think it would be better if the people had a little better graphics but I still like the part that said crappy matrix effect. Except that was the only remotely funny part in the whole thing to me.

Making a flash movie is hard, I know. And what you need is someone who has well rounded drawing capiblility to help you with the designs and what not.

Now i pass the one word that so many have told me "Perspective". This is a key point in any kind of animation. Otherwise models look stiff and lifeless.

You've got some definite potential. Just take a few lessons from other drawings/comics.

Oh, and yes I have to agree, 8-bit tits are no good...
