It's hilarious and I adore it, but unlike others I think the pokedex entry is necessary for users who are unfamiliar with pokemons. I do recommand putting it at the end instead of at the beginning so you can have that "punch" the others users wants, whilst throwing in that lil bit of irony X3

Some pokedex entries honestly don't make any sense... Like Shedninja! You die looking at the back of it, so you can't be it's trainer! Will that be an entry?

Liked the animation quality and the joke was funny enough. I would watch out on your pacing, you seem to be moving a little slow. You could add a lot of punch to your animation if you cut a little sooner or cut out some of the pauses in the character animation. Either way great animation, keep it up!

Hm. Well, while the animation was good, it was really predictable because you showed us the pokedex entry. This took any punch that it might have had and made the whole thing incredibly boring, I'm afraid to say. As soon as I read the entry, I was just waiting for something like that to happen because it's the most obvious gag. Here's a tip on how you can make this 100x better, save the pokedex entry for the end. There are many geeks out there that will remember certain pokedex entries but for most people who don't remember them all so clearly, the vid will have a much better impact. Or at the very least make the gag not so obvious. One star is a little harsh of a rating but this seriously bored the hell out of me.
