A decent parody of an Anime that had this coming! Funny how this seems to to fit how insane the story line of Evangelion really is. If only Team Four Star would parody it like they have been doing to DBZ they may make it more palatable to watch. Then again there is always the Harlok Saga which was really bad in every incarnation. Oh well, so much to parody, so little time. And did I see a touch of Sonic the Hedgehog mixed in with this?

I get people complaining about how you try to invoke comedy by being as random as possible, but that bit about the MC (Shinji) being a little bitch was spot on. Piloting a giant robot is every teenage boy's dream, yet somehow all he can do is bitch, moan and cream his panties about it.

Great art and a few good jokes/points mingled in with a lot of random rubbish. If you dial back the 14 year old boy and add a little more 'cerebral' to your work, you'll have something quite awesome!

You had the opportunity to mock the hell out of one of the glitziest and most poorly written anime films of all time...and you waste it on tired jokes that only protozoa would laugh at.

Nothing on the ridiculous 14 year time skip? Or how every character except for Kaworu is basically hostile, illogical, and unrelatable? Or how the narrative is hijacked into a dead end?
