This seemed to be a little better and better yet you finally managed to get a preloader added which really helps since when it ends instead of a black screen you get taken back to the preloader frame.

The animation was nice however I feel for Dave's face you could have spend more time shading so that where the colors change near his mouth instead of sharp corners it could have been much more rounded and cleaner looking. The bum's face was good with the shading though since you can see a little bit of coloring to the side of his face showing the light is hitting his face at an angle.

The backgrounds were nice and seemed rather fitting.

Story seemed to be slightly dull but nothing truly exciting seems to happen at gas stations anyways so this turned out good.

The voices were well done although you could tell when they were happening since there was a light buzzing sound behind the voices, might want to try picking up something to put in front of the mic to cut out those sounds.

Overall, not too bad, good work here!

Love it, man. The fade to black with Dean's sigh at the end just kind of made it for me.

As for the art, I have to agree it's not the best, and switching to flash, even though you may not like it, could boost the watch value of the this series immensely.

But as for the script, it's a fantastic opener for a show. Really. Our hero is likable, I can see the evolving into so much more.

I hope it does.

Well, this piece starts off well, but the quality of the animation and the actual drawing of the characters really holds the piece back. Parts of the animation, where there is nothing happening are poor, as sound effects in the background show something going on that could have been animated. It's not a cheat, it's lazy.

The same can be said for using images of the shop for backgrounds. Why not draw them out? They will get a lot more use, being reused to back the two scenes up, considering the fact that you have two camera angles for the whole piece.

I can see that there is half-decent writing here, but even that's not enough to drag the piece up out of the hole that other factors have left it in.

Story was good and didnt mind the animation. I agree that a animation should be second over the story telling. Too many people score high over graphics instead of the important material.
Flash can be a pain to learn that is why I use a different program myself. Keep up the work man it can only get better.

Just goes to show... you can entertain someone on the internet with animation, without Flash. It has an entirely different look to it too. I use Flash cuz it's easy for me, I know it and don't have to spend time learning it, which is why I don't want to learn after effects. It's inspiring because you were able to achieve an entertaining cartoon using different tools.
