This game obviously brings up a lot of emotion in people, which is good because this is a topic that deserves some emotion.

The art style was perfect for the game, as was the music.

To anyone that finds this game cruel: they do worse things to chickens, which I am sure you eat all of the time without even thinking about it. Plus, as others have pointed out, we play games like CoD which have us killing hundreds of humans. And you'd be hard-pressed to find an arcade that doesn't have a deer hunting game.

This was an interesting game I felt both curious on how you would end the game as well as if your were going to have a message. I feel that you did both. The storyline on how two boy at first just putting an animal out of its missory and there descent in to insanity was both thrilling and interesting. You made me rethink what i had thought i was playing when the inevitable happend and "your" friend killed a park ranger forcing you to then fight your friend to the death. The final boss was both challenging and oddly expected.
Anyway to wrap this up, this game should probably not be a teen game but mature because to many children will play this and find themselves upset that it is not your normal "vanilla" game but actualy bitter dark chocolate.

Animal Puncher is the game that isn't afraid to portray the adventures of two individuals that find a way to satisfy their primal violent nature. It's a sightseeing journey into the minds of abstract psychotic mess' which can be either enjoyable or rather offensive, with a kick ass soundtrack to back it up.

Seriously every other review is "OMG ANIMALS ARE DYING 0 SCORE!!" I bet you 20 bucks if you re-relased this game as "People Puncher 5000 + Cock Jokes" You'd get 10's like a cheap ass hooker. This game is something most games aren't, ORIGINAL!! It's got an actual message and decent story line if you stop pissing your vagina and actually look at it. It's gameplay is unique and the art style is pretty damn smooth for a pixel game. The music complements the tone and the cutscenes are entertaining. The only reason is that it's an 8 is because the gameplay is a bit repetitive and the choice system doesn't change much. Seriously this is pretty on par with most of newgrounds games. Don't let these moral pussies tell you otherwise. I find it hypocritical we can praise Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare with THE MURDER OF HUMAN BEING WITH HEAVY WEAPONS, but we shit ourselves when we see animals getting punched. Maybe this game isn't for shock value. Maybe it's to say something bigger. Think about it.

ill admit i played it until the first boss, and when i saw the wolf i just fucking switched games idc if u want to kill animals but leave wolves out of it they are majestic being same as bunnies owls and many others dude ur just a sick person to put this shit of a game on ANY wepsite!
