Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

This has been the most difficult film I have ever made, because its meaning is very true to my soul. For too much of my life I have been a mindless consumer of time. Hopelessly placing value in things that never gave an ounce of value back. Now that I am older, I worry endlessly that this new generation is making the same mistakes I now deeply regret.

In the end, I hope my message is honest and clear. Whether you agree with me or not, please share you thoughts, spark meaningful discussions, and share this film with everyone you know.

Special thanks to all those who have been my strength - and to all of you for taking a moment to open your minds =)

mhm...

Yea I Understand All this so dont feel left out.*hug*

Hmm..

Interesting....I d spend too much time on the computer,ds,etc. etc.
But really I would give it all up for an chance to read all of those books you listed.
I don't hide away from life with games.
You say that it is not a lasting effect, but when i beat a level on a videogame,
I go around the rest of the day skipping from room to room from happiness.
When I make a party in a rpg,I imagine that these people are talking, arguing and laughing with me.I give them a personalities.
Often the personality of my friends.

Correct me if i'm wrong...

Were those pip-boy puppets??? And yeah its the gamers hu are addicted not the games fault...

Sure, blame the games

Why do you blame the games instead of the people who are addicted to them? First of all, I'll review the animation itself.

Art / animation: gets you 4/4 points
It was pure tweening, but it looked fluid and it was okay, the backgrounds were detailed enough, and I like how you added pictures and real video. Overall it looked pretty good.

Music / Voice acting: 2/2 points
The quality of the microphone was amazing, you used some background music, so the video didn't feel quiet, overall it was good too.

Humor: 1/1 points
It wasn't very funny, but this is not comedy, so it's not supposed to be funny, some parts made me smile, though, and that why I give you an extra point.

Story (Which in this case, is what you're trying to say with this): 1/3
Seriously? you were addicted to games, and you blame the games for ruining your life? wow that's easy...the games are not guilty, the people who play them are.
You say people should not play games because it's a waste of time, but then you say that they bring people together and that's good, confusing? a little, what I personally think is:

"Games are okay, as long as you don't stop doing more important things just to play games"

They are a way of entertainment, they don't give anything back, except fun (just like almost every other pasttime). Anyways, I hope what took you 30 years to realize helps your life improve, but I also hope you continue making animations...

I agree

The first thing i have to say is that its funny that the only stuff you burnt were WOW stuff Lol i just have to laugh at that since i royaly hate that game ever since it took over my ex-boyfriend's life.
But i have to agree with you with videogames taking over our lives because i kinda know the feeling since i think i did the same two years ago. Whenever i was depressed, i would shut anyone out of my life and play LOZ until i was satisfied and back to my hyper self and it sometimes took days before i was happy again. This is the best and most useful vid on Newgrounds and some of the hardcore gamers and geeks need to see this.
Awesome job on the animation too ;)
