"UPDATE" Changed one room which was too hard and fixed missing dialogue(I hope so).
"UPDATE2" Now after falling in pit you don't have to start from beginning.

he falls with no acceleration D=

waste of my time.

the music was wicked and the graphic r cool but after 2 mins i gave up, i landed on platforms like 50 times and just fell threw the edges, the whole doesnt hurt them when u fall onto them was clearly u being lazy.
everything about the game was great except the game itself.

Well..

It looks like the bulk of my comments have already been stated so I won't re-state them. I will, however, make the fowllowing comments.

I don't have a problem with checkpoints I do however feel as though the gap between checkpoints seems sizeable enough to be a bit on the annoying side as far as replay goes.

On another note with respawning (and probably also an issue with your hit detection) I had to restart the game because it respawned me into wall space.

It looks like you have had a decent amount of comments, and I hope to see your next effort improved. Keep up the good work.

Good potential

I really liked the graphical style but with such a tried and tested formula as the common platformer players expect a certain level of quality that this game just doesn't live up to.
Because Platformers like this have been done so many times before there are certain rules that are simply expected of the genre. For example, if jumping on an enemy kills it then I expect to be able to bounce from one to another without the need to hit the jump button in between to avoid losing health. Similarly I do not expect the game to allow me to jump over a flying enemy, miss clipping it for a kill, only to have it's tail clip me for damage as I pass. This, while possibly intentional smacks of sloppy hit detection.

Also, I know you called it in your description but the respawning is a pain. simply noting that it sucks and admitting it upfront is no excuse. Nobody wants to play the same level over and over. If the game is short it's short. Don't try and extend it's longevity through repetition. This will only encourage criticism. See Assasins Creed.

Anyway, aside from that it's a solid game with a charming art style.
