Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

NOTE: Play with headphones in a dark room for the most atmospheric, frightening gaming experience.

You remember going to sleep, but regain conciousness inside a frightening and surreal landscape. Could it be that you are trapped within your own nightmare? One thing is for sure, you need to escape!

Use the mouse to move and find/drag/interact with objects.

I put a lot of work into this, and I hope you enjoy! Please review :)

Death Is Only The Beginning!

When comes to creepy atmosphere, the author nailed it within this frighteningly dark game. There is also possibly for a great potential story too. Imagine waking up in the middle of nowhere, during the night, in a land scape clearly not familiar in terms of Earth. You look at the sky, and see some blood red stars twinkling amongst some normal stars. Right next to you is gray cactus with oozing blood bubbling out of its top, to your left is a tree stump. Within the stump is the cryptic message "Death/Rebirth Discovery". Ahead of you is a mysterious fort awaiting your entry. Having no idea where to go, you head on in. Now, the first puzzle, although simple, adds to the already creepy atmosphere. I mean the obvious of all answers, that number can strike fear into the hearts of people in western cultures. Once you go through that door, it symbolically feels like walking through the gates of hell. All the puzzles are very simple, but clever nonetheless. Sometimes you actually have to kill yourself to progress. The cool thing is, that although you are practically immortal, this game can still chill you a bit. Another cool feature would be that stump, because every time you die, that stump glows red and offers you a hint relevant to your last death. So you have to do is right down all those alien symbols you see in rooms that are marked with numbers. Oh, and by the way, I really liked the part where you read that message "If you wanted to stay alive you shouldn't have read this" RAAARRRR!!! It gets me every time!

AAAHHH!

Scared the hell outta me when that thing popped out of nowhere while i was reading that writing on the wall!Man,I hate it when stuff like that happens!!!But still awesome!

P.S:My mind is stranger than this dream land...(seriously,you don't wanna know what My nightmares involve...)

:-)

In the first few seconds the thing that struck me was, "I fell asleep, but I feel awake, am I insane"?

If it has not been mentioned yet: being asleep (dreaming) and at the same time conscious is called lucid dreaming and is a state far from insanity. People who didn't know that should research it. :)

Good idea, but needs some work

Hey it was a really good premise and it was scary but I think it could have been a little more difficult and harder, I am usually a tard when it comes to these games and I finished it in like 3 min, It was very good but I think if you made it longer and a little more challenging it would have been better. good job though and i will look out for the next thing you do.
