you could think of more levels and a bit more advanced sound. The metal detector signal is a bit annoying.

I think you have an original idea out there, but you couldn't translate that into the hard game itself. You must improve the graphics, not only your character that is pretty okay, the scenarios which is very important.
You should also add some background music. Moreover, the game is rather slow, i know you don't go runnin lookin for landmines but i would be more fun if you have another level of speed to use. Another thing that concerns speed, in the first level you have to make a whole walk to get the flag, if you go straight you found a wall of mines, that no good if you don't leave at least a tiny hole to go through.

hey, I thought this was really cool. If graphics aren't your thing you could try to find an animator over in the forums, but they weren't bad. Add music, more levels, maybe other obstacles, powerups, ... but cool none the less.
