Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

That other Ep1 was a pilot. Heres the real beginning of it.

This takes place 8 years ago.

The year 2000. No, it wasn't made in 2000, this ep is set there.

Heres the story:

Marris's [10] planet is invaded and destroyed

Her mother Jazmin [29] manages to evacuate her and laila [2] from
the planet to live, Martin [8] finds her

BTW, 1 Song i forgot to add was
FLCL - Advice

I would of finished it LONG ago, but the Sounds were a bitch to put in, Either they kept going out of sync, starting at different times, or playing twice.

And thats why i ended up getting a 7mb File (FUUUUUUCK)

amazing outta this world

tht was amazing i cant wait till u make the next one :D :D :D i couldnt give it anyless than wht i did :D nice work

Mind-blowing!

Watching this was so exciting; I saw part three first originally, so went back and decided to watch this for background info, and this is so captivating. The storyline is interesting, the character designs are very well done, and the whole thing works perfectly and has a great atmosphere to it. I loved the space pod; very Dragon Ball Z-esque, and I can tell from Ep3 that DBZ is a big influence on a lot of this - which I think is brilliant, because you don't get that sort of charm anymore.
The characters are all very interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing a fourth part and perhaps many more - this has the potential to become one of the best and most popular things on Newgrounds. Definitely keep going with this; it made my day!

This cartoon right here is a badass

Man this is really some good flash you just did it was amazing how you come up with some bright ideas making something flawess and epic that just doesn't fail you.

Woah...

Dude, that was pretty damn awesome, you would have gotten frontpage in my book.

The start of an epic series? Could be.

(Keep in mind that I already watched episode 2, so I'll be doing the review of both episodes here)
Whilst some of the stuff isn't really new, and the storyline isn't TOO unique (But that's just me because I've already seen this kind of storyline before), the series definitely seems like it's got lots of potential.

One problem, and it's not even really THAT big of a problem, just a tidbit of sorts, I'd like to address about this flash series (because I've also watched episode 2 and they both have the same problem), is the button-pressing dialogue with the music. Abrupt music stops isn't the way to go with these kinds of things, and to be able to pull that off, you'd have to make the dialogue non-clickable, by this I mean you should make the dialogues just go by themselves and make your music go with the flow of your character's speeches. I've seen a couple of series have this sort of problem that they would make a dialogue box, but then they'd put the "next" button in the form of a small button. It's not that it's annoying to press, but more like it gets in the way of the story because we're more focused with getting ready to press the next button instead of reading the storyline. (I'd like to reiterate that this isn't a huge problem, it's just something I've noticed with some series with no voices).

Now, I can't make a judgment of the action that's been displayed thus far into the series because the battle between Marris and Charm doesn't happen till episode 3 (or at least that's what's been shown at the end of episode 2), but the battle between Martin and Charm.... to best sum it up, seemed kind of slow.... but when I think about it, it's probably just because Charm was going easy on him. I guess I'll just leave the action as "Hasn't been shown yet".

*sigh* Now that I look back at the series, I'm going to be fairly honest with ya. Unless if you can work over some kind of big surprise, or hype up the suspense of this series..... It's going to start to look like everything I've already seen compiled into one animation series. Girl escapes her homeworld to avoid destruction, meets boy on another planet, girl knows how to learn things very quickly, both he and she have energy beam-ish, or ki energy (not sure which one you're going with) powers, meets up with random assassinator that's hunting you two around, IT"S BEEN DONE BEFORE! I really can't see this flash series being any better than slightly above mediocre. I really hope episode 3 and 4 will really bring out this series to its full potential, and I hope plot twists of sorts are waiting in store for us to see.

Hope I'm not coming off too harsh. I'm just saying this because I was expecting something new when I started watching both of these episodes, but it came out short-handed in the "unique" department. I can't stress enough how much you should make this your OWN series, which would make it twice as better than it is now. Not trying to say you purposely took idea's from other people's work, but it really does need some kind of thing that distinguishes itself from other flash series out here on Newgrounds, and other series out there (but then again, this should only be focused on Newgrounds)

So, overall, It's good, but it can be better, and that's what I'm hoping to see when episode 3 and 4 come out. Definitely liking the idea of voices coming up for episode 4.
