Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

Lock's Quest is a full independent game promoting the upcoming release on the Nintendo DS. GameJacket is officially distributing this game on behalf of the game publisher THQ. Enjoy!

But good graphics and nice work. If the gameplay was just expanded a bit, I would give this a 10.

omfg, i was playing and like to the 5 seconds of playing it gets slowly affaul!

1. you cant even get a good aim cuz of the low f/p/s rate!

2. wow, the archers shooting 5 arrows per half second make's it soooo easier,
please! c'mon! winning with that speed its almost imposible! and could u please remember most of us don't have more than 2 gb of ram! (i think i have 1.5, or the crude truth: 989 mb, waaaa)

3. wow, thats horrible straterrmrmrm, wait, this doesn't even have strategy, u.u wow, how disapointing, and that i did wait more, : \ ¬¬

While the sprite graphics are very well done, the game itself lacks balance and dynamics. It gets very hard very fast and there isn't anything you can do about it. Basically I agree with previous reviewers - the game is boring and it's a waste of time. Ultimate Defense 2 that's on the front page right now has very similar graphics and is a much better defense game with elements of RPG.

i was just reading reviews an ign.com and in the real game there are so many more things to play aorund with.

Out of all the reviews i have read the real game offers everything and more that you have suggested to be put into the game, it includes traps, wall building and fortifying, control of other units, more complex turrets, special attacks, little mini games inside gameplay use different skills and spells aswell as control of lok himself.

I think it would be a great idea to buy the real game, but at the same time i think it was a bad idea to make this as the demo because the real game has so much more in it and the demo only showcases an extremely tiny amount of what is actually in the real game.

Also if ign rated it an 8.6 then this game MUST be at least half decent.

Though I really liked it, and the art work was a bit DBZ in my opinion. I really liked the intricacy of the attack formations too.
