Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

Before there were war-machines, genetically created warriors or supernatural samurai the fate of the universe rested upon a different breed of hero. They had no special powers, and most barely had any military training. They were few in number and had only make-shift weapons yet they were willing to stand up against the greatest force in the galaxy to protect their liberty. They were Rebels...

Perhaps my most complex film to-date, this film stands as a tribute to the true heroes of the SW universe. Please vote fairly based on skill & technique and not your views on Star Wars. Comments are always appreciated!

* Thanks all for Daily First! PS.. a 'little' SW knowledge helps. If you haven't seen movies 4-6, shame on you =) Also, please note: THIS IS NOT A COMMENTARY ON IRAQ. Do not confuse Rebels with Terrorist Insurgents. Think American Revolution 1770's

Very touching.

I always feel a little sad when watching Star Wars and other similar movies and seeing a somehwta named character be sacrificed for a good cause. In a New Hope I always seemed to have a little more sorrow for Gold Leader whne he dies.

Very touching film.

Themes in movies are very important because they often give the movies deeper meanings. In the original trilogy characters like Han Solo and the rebels are everyday people like us with little skills and no real hope. However, even against the greatest odds they are victorious. In the prequels, there is no normal character. They are all superhumans or droids. Padme and 3PO are probably the most normal, but you can't relate to them "overcoming and succeding" since 1 whines and 1 dies.

Techincally Competent

Fairly good on a technical level, but the narrative was sorely lacking. Still, shows talent and promise. Looking forward to more films in future.
