Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

Before there were war-machines, genetically created warriors or supernatural samurai the fate of the universe rested upon a different breed of hero. They had no special powers, and most barely had any military training. They were few in number and had only make-shift weapons yet they were willing to stand up against the greatest force in the galaxy to protect their liberty. They were Rebels...

Perhaps my most complex film to-date, this film stands as a tribute to the true heroes of the SW universe. Please vote fairly based on skill & technique and not your views on Star Wars. Comments are always appreciated!

* Thanks all for Daily First! PS.. a 'little' SW knowledge helps. If you haven't seen movies 4-6, shame on you =) Also, please note: THIS IS NOT A COMMENTARY ON IRAQ. Do not confuse Rebels with Terrorist Insurgents. Think American Revolution 1770's

Wow, this film sure is symbolic. Especially during the part of the FAQs where you mention the Iraq war I agree with you. War is a terrible thing that everyone wishes to avoid yet tyrants will always exist. Knowing just what to do during 'impossible odds' can be hard. I feel that no matter what choice we make lives will be lose.

I have never met someone that ties such a movie cinematic theme like Star Wars into modern day troubles.

Impressive and very symbolic I felt.

I might just be a nerd . .

I do realize that the rebels are poor and that I might be biased due to the fact that I'm pro Empire, but I noticed that one of the ships was a alliance LANDING CRAFT. Many of the rebellion ships displayed were highly inadequite for the situation, only useful for suicide attacks. I realize I am just bitching about the tactical overview, but I just felt like you should now if you already didn't. I did find the artwork and entire design of the movie appealing and entertaining. I, despite my dislike of rebels thought the movie to be a good one, even though it's hard to put personal bias aside.

it was ok

Not bad, I like it though, good work.

LOVED IT!!

I loved it, animation was cool, reminds me of The Clones Wars. When all those ships were going to fight that massive Imperial fleet, I laughed at what the gunner said "We're all gonna die" with 27 SD's on screen, omfg I laughed. Was that Band Of Brothers music at the end? Make more, I bet that will be an awesome series.

<deleted> responds:

The music was from the game Medal of Honor Rising Sun, but it's pretty much the same thing.
