I know I'm going to get a lot of flame for this..
But I just can't hold it in. I've watched a lot of things that have been submitted to Newgrounds, I think I've been a steadfast Newgrounds visitor for at least 8 years now, so I've seen pretty much the best and the worst kind of things that have been submitted to this website. Nothing offended me more than this. I've been taught to accept that people will of course, have other views and opinions, and I can accept that athiests would often scoff at Biblical Teachings that Christians such as myself may hold, but I don't see the reason for authors of flash movies to start making such degrading movies. You claim that you've stuck to the Bible, and I can't find many new ways that haven't been mentioned from earlier reviews that you've gotten wrong. But you've found a thousand other ways to twist the story.
Whatever your intention may have been, whether it was to 'show a new perspective of the Bible', or to simply 'piss Christians off', it wasn't fair nor funny for myself. Athiests will watch this movie and leave with a negative perspective on Christians, no matter whether they take it as a joke or not.
It might have been funny for some, but here's my judgement from my personal opinion.
Graphics : 7. It was good animation, good graphics, and I can't say that it wasn't good.
Style : Not as original as it could have been, but almost every good idea's been taken up nowadays. It'll do with a 7.
Sound : 6 Not much to say about sound, good recording quality.
Violence: 0 - Didn't watch long enough to see any.
Interactivity: 0 - Didn't notice if there was a 'Play' button.
Humor: 3 - With the full knowledge that I may (or may not) leave behind me a huge trail of flaming from future reviewers, I have to give this a 3. I can't help but think that you've been very insensitive to how some people might have felt.
Overall: 4 - After writing this review, I still can't understand why you'd make a movie that could have been so controversial (which you've seemed to avoid, funnily enough).
Even if this was just a joke, and maybe I AM over-reacting, which some people will say, I'm only being firm on what I believe in. People who say that I'm old fashioned or the 'hardcore Christian type', or similarly, I can accept that you'd think that of me. Still, I'm putting my foot down, in the hopes that in the future you might, possibly take more care in what you display in your future continuations of this series.
