Woohoo! Finally finished the animation. This is part 1 of three, and is certainly the best animation I have completed so far. The lip sync does go off slightly, but I don't think it's that bad...there is a lot of dialogue in this animation, little action and zombies, but I assure you all that will come in Part 2.
Now shh, watch the animation.

A bit of constructive critisism
Ok it was good, but certain things about it 'Irked' me...
I'll try to be straight forward, and helpful with this.
First off,
I understand that you stated the Lyp sync was a bit off but there really isn't much of an excuse for that.. Being an animator myself I know how differently things tend to function in, and outside of the "Preview movie" funtion. So really, you should only worry about outside of it.. If the lip sync lasts to long, go back and trim a few frames...
Second,
Having studied Drama, and acting (Kind of the same thing)
I can assure you that the pauses between the communications of your characters kills the rythm.. Or flow of your movie..
It halts any kinda of drama, and puts a hitch to jokes.. Thats a Rut you need to work out of any other flashes you make..
Another point,
You should spend a bit more time making things look better.
You used alot of Static bitmaps.. Things you pulled from the web..
Like the Mc donalds logo.. If your going to use a Bitmap (I still prefer hand drawn) Then go into edit with the bitmap selected and click the option "Trace bitmap" This will give it a more 'Arty' look and make it also look a bit more original.
On the same subject, you should spend more time on your characters, I noticed you used one symbol for the legs... Thats a No-No.... Go ahead and make that extra symbol... It pays off...
One last thing,
I really Didn't like the volume of some of your things... The block walked in and screamed... No good reason, and it was too loud...
He did it repetitivly... You can make a Char look like a total jackass and annoying without breaking the characters... It's the way something is said, not how loud it's said...
As a Closing statement,
I do think you have alot of potential and with just a little bit more work you could easily be one of the better animators on Newgrounds... Hone your talents a bit and pay a little more attention to detail and I'm sure you'll see the improvment too.

See? Why can't reviews be more like this? I will say a couple of things though, I used trace bitmap for weapons, and the logo's on the sleeves of a couple of characters I in fact created, not pulled off of google or something (just getting that strait). I know I haven't done that great in acting, but compared to my older animations, it doesn't look so bad. That was the main area I wanted to improve in on this animation (Actually giving them facial expressions rather than the same thing through the whole animation).
