My god I stressed on this, first I found out that it didnt work on mac's of some weird reason, then I had redo the code, I did it in only 5 min. But now the compications was really pooring in, I was sweating like hell trying to fix this watching its score fall and fall and fall...
Could've been very very good. You feel flat in so many ways, though - the birds fly much faster than the bullets, so you have to allow a huge amount of deflection meaning that after they get past 60% of the screen they are impossible to hit.
Ammo runs out much too fast, and it's too expensive - the few seconds with no bullets could cost you half your HP.
You can't heal your 'base' either, so one bad level cuts down your chances of progressing hugely.
Overall - yeah, it's too damn hard.
I do admit it you need to slow down the birds and probably add a few upgrades to make it easier, but looking besides that, it's a good game.
This game needs some work. Firstly, the birds need to slow right down, and ammo and guns need to be cheaper. But i found the main problem was the people. While i was focused on drilling them with about 2,000 bullets each, all the birds were getting through. And they move so fast ( the people) and there is way too many. Work all that out, and you'll have a sweet game!
slow the birds down, make upgrades easier to get and take away the running out of ammo thing. good concept though.
