Runescape

Yeah, he's not really bashing it, but just parodying it by pointing out things that most gamers of different genres (shooters, real time strategy, etc) would get confused or angry at if they played Runescape and how it really doesn't make sense sometimes when you try to do stuff.

I thought it was funny, because it dealt with ideas that I thought was odd, like why would you touch the bar if it just got smelted it'd like melt your hand or burn you. MMORPG's are all about leveling up and stuff, but for the people that play shooters or other games, shooting someone in the face and winning seems a lot simpler, and is.

MMORPGs are a like it or hate it kind of games, or to play when every other game is played too much and you need some kind of variation.

I play Runescape but doesn't mean that I don't play a lotta shooters, RTS, and other types of games.

Pfft.

Oh, please. Do you run an mmorpg with millions of players? Do you have to script things everyday for hours straight? Do you have to clean up the glitches, make the skins, ban the assholes, and come up with new ideas?

No.

Then don't blame it on a team of people with great talent who make a few mistakes now and then. Compared to you....

i think most of the voters who gave low votes did so because either:
1. they don't understand the jokes, because they never played RS, or
2. they hate RS

i remember wasting all of middle school on RS, so i thought it was pretty funny
