Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

-:UPDATE:-
I thought I’d tell you lot a bit more about the animation so here goes:
We made this for are 1st year group project last summer at university. Everything was model and animated using Maya and also rendered using Maya software. We didn’t really have long for it either and were left to render and edit it in the space of 4 days that’s why some lighting is a bit off, such as the last shot.
Thanks the reviews, and apologies for not replying to all of them were real busy at the moment with are 2nd year group project.
All you people who want to see a higher quality version can download the divx from:

oh and remember 5 people worked on this and we all had an equal amount of input so stop giving me all the credit

WOW DUDE!

Holy crap that was freakin amazing! Awesome Job! That was great I hate happy endings...And eventhough its cruel the fact he got totaly denied made me laugh quite hard.

AMAZING!

I can totally relate to the robot, but, why did he get hit in the end, you just made me sad..

very well done

wonderful vision, and well executed. i very much enjoyed it. please do more.

Nothing close to funny.

At first, when i watched this, and (WARNING: SPOILER) i saw him get hit by the bus, for a millasecond i smiled, then when i heard the music keep playing.. My smile turned to a fuckin frown. it was nothing close to funny when i broke it down.. I love the ending.. Sad endings. The way shit really is.

<<<NOT EMO>>>

sumtimes shit turns out good :o

Not too bad

That was actually the second well done 3d animation i have seen so far on this website.

The first was called Freak, by whizzkid Evil-Dog. Its unfair to compare the two, since the only similarity they have is that they are rendered in 3d.

The visual style used for this movie is excellent. It all looked really cool and believable. The robots design was a bit simple and didnt really speak to my imagination, but the backgrounds were really well done. The animation was great too!

However, having an excellent visual style may in no way be used as excuse to forget about the other aspects of a flash movie.. What the hell did you exactley try to make? A comedy? A drama? It still isnt clear to me after seeing it for the second time. It wasnt funny and the stupid ending prevented me from taking it serious.

The characters in the movie were all very one dimensional also. I dont expect you to deepen their characters in a short like this, but at least give them some more lines of dialogue or unique traits or something. They were just being there, trying to look pretty in 3d. Anyway, think up a better concept next time. Besides the mentioned flaws, the entire robot falling in love thing has been done before and better. If you are willing to put as much time in thinking out a good concept/story/characters/dialogue and keep the visual talent, then you WILL have a solid movie.
