Finaly a Katrina flash that sticks out
Graphics: 7 out of 10
Not bad. The graphics were actualy eye-catching and made me want to finish the animation. Some parts were a little drab but mostly left me satisfied.
Style: 10 out of 10
The way I see it, if anyone has the balls to make a flash about a tragic event then they've got definant style.
Sound: 6 out of 10
The music at the begining of the animation was catchy and the various songs and sounds troughout the pic seemed to fit alright and didn't seem to out of place.
Violence: 10 out of 10
Pretty violent stuff in here. Reporters gettin' bashed by flyin' cars, countless scenes of people getting slamed by waves, and poor Foamy getting powned in the face (I like Foamy. Didn't affect the score though). Definently enough in here to max out the score.
Interactivity: 2 out of 10
Nothing much beside the various buttons at the begining of the animation. But at least there's somthing to do in there other then just watch.
Humor: 5 out of 10
I take serious matters like these very seriously, but when it comes to reviewing them I try to put those fealings asside. And when I did, I actualy found some pretty good humor in here. Most of it was plain dumb humor but I lets a small chuckel out here and there. Not bad.
Overall: 7 out of 10
By far, this is one of the best Katrina animations on Newgrounds. Of course most are going to find this offensive because they lost loved ones, but being that I found a button that sends you to the Red Cross so you can donate to the relief fund shows that the creator seems to care some aswell. The sound is nice and the graphics are deacent. I was able to watch the whole thing withough wanting to close it out. Nicely done.
