Very good but needs a background

The animation and art were both excellent, however it really needed a background on the fight scenes. The white void just makes it seem much more amateurish than it really is. It would also give the fights a little more depth, which perhaps some more movement.

Even just the background you used at the start of the end sequence would do, though preferably something larger and closer to a SSB arena.

Perhaps you should have taken out the original script crap and added all the stuff you planned to. A background would have been nice and a few characters fighting at once, rather than waiting in a queue.
Other than that, sweet graphics and great fighting. (This coming from a HUGE SSB fan.)

I actually liked that.

I'm not a fan of SSB, mostly because I suck giant gonads at it, but even I can't complain about that submission.
The animation was a little rough around the edges, and it would've been nice to add some original voice actors and other dialogue aside from what's just in the game, but other than that, it was entirely enjoyable.
It's a little long, but you get to see Pikachu running around on fire, so it's worth it.

Hey, pretty good

As a fan of Super Smash Bros, I'm glad to see someone submit a decent flash on it. Your animation was decent, and your graphics were good.

Much of the fighting was very cool, and the sfx were well used (Marth and Roy versus Bowser, and Cpt Falcon plotting with Ganon, as examples). The sound quality could be better, however. I presume you're recording with a mic from a TV; I'd suggest a more direct rip if you can.

As highlights go, I think Ness going all Children of the Damned was fitting and damned funny. Very strange, but funny still.

My big complaint is that there's no real background, (big white void, sorta dull) and a lot of the fighting is someone attacking someone from off screen and killing them. If you perhaps laid the characters in some sort of actual giant match on one of the maps and let the real chaos we know from the game show through, you'd have a better peice.

All in all, good stuff. I look forwards to seeing a sequal and further works. :)

What an great Flash

You did an awesome job on this flash i hope you make more like this. I have been an SSB fan since it was released on the N-64. Well please make more SSB flash.
