Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

UPDATE (5/22/08)

I fixed the film's link since it was wrong for some reason.

I've finally uploaded the full movie to the Internet. You can watch it here:
http://www.archive.org/de tails/LegoRPGTheMovie (take the space out of "details"; I dunno why it's there)

This is a trailer, so take note that it doesn't even hint at the storyline to come!

Thanks for taking interest in my movie trailer for "Lego RPG: The Movie"! After watching it, be sure to post a review and/or score it, so I can know how I did! :-)

The movie itself is done, and it clocks in at 58 minutes. It was finished on time (Winter 2004). It's also based on a game series of mine called "Lego RPG". I never published it in any game creators, but I do have the concept of each game written down somewhere, just in case I do decide to make games out of them.

When the movie comes out, and if it bodes well, I might decide to start creating and publishing the game series.

Enjoy the trailer!

-Ryan Tyrrell

P.S. Oh, and just so I don't get in trouble: EVERYTHING IN THIS MOVIE IS COPYRIGHTED TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS (i.e. Universal Pictures, Motion Picture Association of America, LEGO Company)!

lol

i have almost the same exact lego collection... i even have that dollar-cheap toy dude that you showed about halfway through... dollar stores are cool.
Nice movie... ill be glad to make you a scene selection, all you have to do is send me the .fla (so i know where to find the frames)

just tell me what you want in the menu, and you got it.

Waiting....

Well now it is 2005 and no movie is there not going to be one..

And if legos were alive well your right that is a good question

<deleted> responds:

Rejoice! zebragrrl gave me an excellent idea, so I'll try and give it a shot.

Still here.. still waiting, still wanting more.

Hey.. I had a thought to attack your compressor problem, and your menu/scene selection problem as well.

Chop the film into chapters, and release them to us one at a time. Make sure each chapter has a URL in it so we can make sure to find the rest even if they get dissed by some of the autoblammers.

Then the film could be released in manageable chunks (say 4 chapters at 15 minutes each, or maybe 6 chapters at ten minutes each. It's obviously your call.

I really am willing to download a 600mb avi.. just to get a look at your film... but I'll settle for chapters. I don't need any fancy menus.

But come on! it's been 6-9 months with the thing in the can! let's have it!

<deleted> responds:

This is a good idea. I also just recently finished the original Lego RPG adventure, so I'll post that up along with the chapters of LRPG:TM. I'll try and get this done ASAP, but I'm not making any promises. I'll need to find a host first...

Yes...universal I must say

Hey, it's a well presented film, excluding the huge universal studio logo at the start. Graphics are a little bit pixelated, but the sound keeps in perfectly. The camera is like...amazingly still, but then again, the animation is a bit 'robotic'. I know the camera is hard to keep still, so well done there, animation needs some work tho

Raelly good

I think that the movie was realy good! I'm suprised it wasent taken off! I mean legos are illegal on newgrounds! my lego movies were taken of they were on for 3 minutes! You are lucky!
