ok, this is my first manga drawing. it took about 30 mins to sketch, draw, finalize, ink and erase. i learned how to draw it by making the tutorials on mangatutorials into a book. i just put this up so i could see if i was doing ok for a beginner, and maybe if you guys could show me some of your manga pictures. please, no hentai.

Bad criticism, try again.

My suggestion: look at manga more. Honestly, all of the good manga artists I know started out tracing it (don't post traced images here though). Then, once they got a good handle of the style, they began drawing it themselves.
You tried to put too much in there with too little skills. Such as the little points for his knuckles. They're unnecessary. Dry drawing really simple manga, without all of the added details, like the overly emphasized finger joints, or the bagginess of the pants.

Moosh is a wonderful artist, and has some tutorials that will help.

no no no, this is all wrong. here's a quick sketch of how to draw manga.
make sure you do the big ass hair and eyes and a giant "C" where the forehead is suppose to be.

i'm just gonna go ahead and say... Moosh doesn't know how to teach.

i'm pretty sure he's said it himself somewhere, but... you can really tell if someone used his tutorials. they all look the same. it's almost 1/1 line copying.

but... anyways, make better choices with details. like he said before, making knuckles the same thickness as the outlines makes the character awkward. watch the positioning of the limbs. they're not just tubes. there's muscles and ligaments connecting everything. they're usually not pronounced, but there enough to change the curve of the skin.

just calling it anime doesn't give you the excuse to make mistakes.
