That's definitely algebra.
Also, pay attention in skewl.

THE TITLE IS KILLING MY BRAIN
This is pretty easy stuff man. You have to use the formula y=mx+c y is the y point[on the graph] m is the graident [the slope of the line] and c is the y intercept[where the line cuts the y axis]
just make up a x point say 3 then sub it into the eqn so you get y=3/4*3+5, you get your answer so you get the points (answer from eqn, 3) then do it again and you have two points to plot your line....
Exhale
Start at y = 5, for every 4 units right, go 3 up.
That's algebra, it follows the y=mx+b formula. B, or 5, is the Y intercept, so the slope(m) would intercept the Y line at 5. And 3/4 is the slope.
So it would look like this.
Man, I haven't done this stuff since 8th grade haha.
.

Or is it 3 right and 4 up... I just use a fucking calculator.
Oh yeah, its called 'the equ. of a straight line' GEEZE!

y = slope(x) + y-intercept
slope = rise/run
thus the line intercepts 5 on the y axis and rises 3 and moves rightward 4.
fucking pre-algebra

Well pre-algebra got wiped from my head in Calculus IV and Computational Fluid Dynamics... Computers do it faster.
Wait, isn't the equation 3/(4x), rather than (3/4)x?
What is this, Amateur Hour?
That's not Calculus, it's basic Algebra.

No, the original poster is just a moron who didn't post the equation correctly in the title.
Have faith in NGCA.

No need to toot your own horn over something so basic.
It's a straight line, every time it goes up once, it goes across four times. It starts on the point, 0,5.
Not my real name!

I'll toot my own horn whenever it pleases me or visa-versa.
