i cant get my movei smaller then 120 k wtf i delted like 800 frames and what not.... its half the number of fmraes but thers like 120 k sise... damit i htin its stupid transions i put in.... fading and sutff?

I was just wondering what the purpose of these cards are, we aren't awarded anything else besides the prize that Tom mentioned are we.

Your username and website will be displayed in accompaniment to the e-cards. The e-cards will be sent all around the world, so there's a good chance that you will get a lot of extra publicity for your site if you do make one and it gets displayed on NG.

Sounds cool...I want to make one...but...is there any guidelines on how to make one...beside that 300x235 size limit.

I've never seen any Holiday cards here..I don't think...Maybe I saw one a while ago...Like in 2000...But I had a different name then...oh well.

Until now! James has programmed a new eCard system from the ground up, complete with a submission system, so you can submit your own! Check out this form to submit an eCard. The size requirements are a strict width=300 and height=235. You will be fully credited for your card, so it's a nice way to get some extra publicity!

These cards have the potential to be HUGE, because, if you've noticed, there are so many people with so much enthusiasm, and they want to create something. A 2-3 minute flash movie, fully loaded with sound is too much for most flash artists to devote, but a short 20-30 second cartoon, or simple game, is exactly what most flash artists can and are willing to do, and successfully at that!

I would recommend making this section of newgrounds extremely user-friendly, if possible. It's too bad about the height/width requirement.

I saw some questions on this post about it. An eCard system: It's going to let strangers (your friends) come to newgrounds (probably from an auto-email), just to view your eCard, so there is dual exposure.

Competition from other flash artists won't be based on length, or cool effects anymore. Artists will have to become more witty, while keeping it shorter in length and filesize.

That's what I get from it.
