this isn't anything new but I manage to get a picture of my one and only attempt at sculpture. I carved this log out in 2002. I was much more pleased with it at the time (now I'm a little more critical of my work)

not bad, it looks a little out of shape, but i did wood works last year, and i hate using wood, so its better than whaterver anyone in my class could do. yay for varnish.

haha yeah, like I said, it was a long time ago but I do remember that wood being a bitch to work with. parts of it were real dry and would split instead of coming off in solid chunks. I look back on it now though and wish that I had sanded the hell out of the handle cause it's too damn rough.

I'm actually working on something again. It was an older concept that I had completed for a class but I haven't been able to find it. So instead I decided just to make the entire project over again. I'll post it up when I'm finnished with it but for anyone who is curious it will be a printing project.
