I just wondered if it's allowed to upload covers of certain songs up here.
Covers or remixes of video game songs seem to be allowed, I spotted a lot of them on the portal, but what about commerical, vocal songs?
I covered a Sonata Arctica tune and would love to upload it here, but before doing that I just wanted to check whether or not it's allowed. The rules don't indicate that.

Although I wouldn't recommend it, covers are alright as long as the song is 100% remade by you.
You cannot use any part of the original song - no samples no loops - you need to completely re-create the song. To be on the safe side, make sure to include credit in the description - cover of "Song Title" by "original artist" blah blah....
