I used to assfuck around with Sketchup quite a bit about a year ago. I'll re-install it and see if I still have my skills. I made an exact replica of Lockout once, like, fuckin' exact.

Somebody feel bad for me and make me a sig.

If not fuck you.

Sketchup= Bad
3DS Max= Good
Maya= Best, but extremely complex
I mastered sketchup, but the problem is that only the premium version can export .obj files which every 3D animation program uses. And the premium version is.... $400! Better to just get 3DS Max for around $1500, or Maya for around $5000. If you're poor, then get Blender, it's free.
Sketchup- Very easy to master, but annoying to use with anything but a mouse. No animation capabilities, no spline modeling, no lathe tool, no good sun simulator, cheap textures, and no .obj export in the free version make this program really annoying to use. It's better to just fork over a few thousannd for a real program like 3DS Max...

Well I don't feel like spending anything at all so... sketchup is for me.

It's alittle hairy, but better than my first!

Oh yeah and what are you use to color or give textures to the models with any way? What rendering software Is good at that Because I really don't know how to use Three dimensional applications.

In Sketchup it is a little paint bucket, but I don't have a pro exporter so there are probaly much more realistic ways to do it.
