Audicity question 2007-10-26 16:08:09

is there a way to make a track (of a beat) and then record a new track while the other beat track is playing so you can actually hear the beat of the music when singing?

I was using it today to record some guitar (I made some black metals lols) and my first guitar track played while I was recording the second. So, it should do it automatically, right?

Go into the preferences and check the box that says something like "playback while recording". That will do it!
