"This isn't supported by this object" is the exact error message you get? Thats kind of an odd error message. Does it say any thing else?

So you tried turning off the firewall? I read somewhere that you may need to restart your computer after disabling McAfee firewall in order for it to come in effect. Try this.

Can you upload a picture to here? [The BBS]. If not indicate so. If you can, upload your icon here so i can take a look at it.

Which translates to "This property or method is not supported by this object". Any one know what could be the cause of this error code besides file size or format? [because i have no idea.]

I still do not know how to help you because you have not indicated what you have attempted with your firewall. Did you turn it off? Did you restart after you turn it off?

i've shut all the firewalls off, and restarted the computer, and it didnt work

is used Opera., cuz with firefox i cant log in :S

I have this exact same problem, I've disabled the firewall, shut down macaffee, restarted my computer, allowed everything, done advanced and allowed firefox traffic at all times, cleared my cache, updated my flash player, java, and firefox, checked for addon's that could help and I got nothing I've even tried internet explorer.

You expressed you displeasure about not being able to upload an icon on both you submission and on the fist post of this thread, I though i'd help you.

Ok well lets go over the things you have tried and the other suggestions. The purpose is to clear things up for people that have further suggestions because i am running out of them.

You have tried:
1) Clearing your cache.
2) Multiple browsers [Firefox, IE7, Opera, and safari.]
3) A computer restart.
4) Making sure you have the right download picture specifications. [Making sure the pictures are in the correct format, the correct dimensions, and of the correct size limit] [for flash making sure it is the right file size (below 10 mb) and inthe correct file type (.swf).
5) Shutting off your anti-virus AND firewall AND performing a restart after doing so. [You are using McAfee]
6) Javascript is enabled. [if not Kilerden wouldn't be able to post here]

You are experiencing:
Inability to upload pictures or flash videos/games. Your attempt yields a preview of the picture/ flash but upon submission you get an error message saying "This property or method is not supported by this object" [Loosely translated from dutch].

What you could potentially still try:
What deckheadtottie has suggested. Enabling windows firewall. Removing McAfee, running CCleaner to remove its remnants and then attempting the download. Downloading and installing Zone Alarm Free and AVG free.

Other things that may be important:
1) The user is from Holland. [possible conflict with internet provider]. Their were problems with servers in Buenos Aires (maybe a few other places) post redesign but i believe these problems were fixed.
2) Kilerden can upload his pictures and movies on his friends computer.

Any thing i have missed? Any one have further suggestions how to help out?

Umm this may make you seem like a dum nut but did you check the format for the icon :p its gotta be a .jpeg or .bmp or did you publish the flash correctly did you delete the flash video encoder or do you not hve that??
if one of these things are wrong then that could be a problem
or are you behind a firewall are you behind a modem?? if so are there open ports??

i have deinstalled McAffee and installed: Zonealarm, AVG, and CC.\
and run all of that, [its now scanning with AVG]

but McAffee didnt deintsalled, wright,. some files didnt deinstal..
but i'll figure that my self out ;)
