theres apretty detailed tutorial in swift 3d version 3, you make a lamp to be exact, taught me what i needed to know
more specifically... I need a car for my flash
that actually has dimensions. The ones I import
are just flat.
Dude, you cant just create a car in Swift, then import it to flash and think "Whe hey, I'm gonna animate my imported car from Swift in Flash! You'll have to animate in Swift as well, but the animation in Swift 3D is half as good as in Flash, unfortunately...
its hard to make a decent looking car in swift
you know like the ones in the joe zombie series?
now those are good looking cars
There are some Swift 3d tutorials on http://www.kirupa.com, the car in the joe zombie series is really easy to find, you just go to "file - new from 3ds, click on some folders and click import (or export) dont remember, and the model's name is "camaro" or something. hope i helped ;D
joe zombie just went to www.3dcafe.com and downloaded models, imported them (in 3ds format) with the feautre the guy above said, and vwala you have your model then you just animate, you can model in swift i do sometimes but its hard
I'm new to swift 3d and I have no clue how to make a car. I can create a model, and the tires, but I have no idea how to add windows, lights, doors, etc. to it's detail. I can't create pictures and import them (because I don't have programs for their supported files) and when I drop a picture, it covers the whole section (front, top, back, AND bottom - not just front, back, top OR bottom). Does anyone know where my skills go terribly wrong that I think there's no way to create detail to 3d models?
