old shape, you dont know what you're talking about.
and why ever not? are you trying to say that once a very, VERY large idea (in this case an art forum collab) has been done several times, its finished, and anything that comes after it is deemed unoriginal and boring? That doesnt seem fair. Or right. If you look at everything you see by those rules, then you must live a pretty sad life. we'll work hard, and it'll be awesome.
I was hoping to pump some energy in the thread by showing an update! ^^
click start, then right click>rewind then click start again, thats how i got it to work
Oh yeah, and don't worry about the stars. I'll fix them.
Morrowdays, I'm adding scenery from the moment I stop adding buildings. Good thing you're so entousiastic about this Flash.

I updated it.
looks great! It might need to be a little slower though, with an increased frame rate. what is it at now? [frame rate]
also, this is relatively time consuming, but you should think about putting the stars on a different layer than the buildings, because stars move a lot slower than buildings do when your moving past them. Check out the latest Blockhead installement and look at the parts where he's walking on the sidewalk and there are quite a few layers of scenery moving at gradually slower speeds.
its going to be an awesome animation when its done. Whoever's doing button art needs to remember to add a little sound for it though, like in Dad'n Me.
looking good test object.
Mine didn't get in?
Oh well.
They were fun to make.
Here's some audio that might be good.
Well, it still looks nice, even without mine :(
Mr.Clam and his trumpet-bazooka.
meh, i didn't get in.
actually inside i was like ASD:JGDFHKTGHLSFH WHY WHY WHYYY!!?!?!
so how can i make my picture get in?
mmanyways, my pic was fun and i didn't even use gradients (done by hand :D)

I actually really liked looking at yours, mostly because of the Hahabears speachbubble. The whole thing had a nice japanese vintage quality about it.
James, er... HUGH, whichever you prefer, I kinda like toys, by API. test object, CHECK IT.
remember to listen to "toys", I think its the third or fourth one.
y'all wishes y'all could be drawin' these gangsta moonsign.
word.
if the style doesnt fit with the rest of the movie test object, let me know and I'll draw a really traditional looking one.

In responce to HahaBears, I liked yours, and that was how I felt. Like "JESUS MY PICTURE DIDN'T GET IN THE BEST ART COLLAB EVAR!!! :(((((((((((" Then I got over it. :)
HOW CAN I GET MY PIC IN? (BE SPECIFIC ON MY PROBLEM DON"T VAGELY SAY "READ THE RULES") :P

In responce to MorrowDays, your right Toys is cool. and.......
WHERE THE HELL DID YOU COME UP WITH JAMES?!? lol
And I saw your flash and I've come to a conclusion...
Your a really good artist.
On my favorites you go. :3
And for Test-Object and MorrowDays, If you guys need anymore Art, I'm your man.
I'm happy to help with anything.
And BTW are we doing profiles? It'll be a nice touch (0_o)

Thanks! I appreciate the appreciation. Test object's the author of this so I cant give a tremendous answer about why yours didnt get in, but if you want to make them better, do some blurred shading and make some lines thicker than others.
In other words, just like, spend about fifteen minutes pumping it with awesome :)
Profiles would be really cool.
this ok?
same technique, no gradients and all by hand
i call it teh observaorly
that looks quite nice hahabears, nice shading, looks quite robotic.
heres a mailbox. its all tagged up. with graff.

pretty shnazzy, if you're planning on fixing it up a little though I'd recommend straightening up that pesky roof, adding a little more detail/shading to the people, and removing the floating dot between the two people on the left.
looks quite decent though, good job

Thanks. Yeah I'll just touch it up a little. This collab looks awesome so far.
I made the building a little smoother and a few other things...

Fuck. The quality is lower. Grr... I'll post a link instead to save post space...

OK! Get on it right now!
No problem! PM me for help!
PLEASE PM ME (the only one I ever got was when I wrote a pissed off review for a KK flash and P-Bot got up in my face and said "BAD REVIEWER!!!" :(..)
Here's what the profiles could look like.
The Picture of the artist goes in the box.
Comments go there.
The authors name goes there.
BEST ART COLLAB EVER!
Mr.Clam and his trumpet-bazooka.
doesnt work, wrong dimensions james. I do believe though that the correct dimensions would be three hundred by four hundred.
300x400.
I never agreed with profiles, hugh-nelson. I have 3 reasons for that:
- extra work
- that pic won't fit
- I can't accept the Flash you made that pic in (I can't accept Flashes generally)
Also, the only way to become co-authored is making pics, so could people stop PM-ing me that question? I won't call names for your safety.
Which makes me think about it : Morrowdays, I send you a buddy request
