Most goriest films ever made. 2007-04-07 12:13:49

In your opinion whats the most goriest film/films ever made.
I mean gory by the way, not just violent or bloody.

I'd say.

DeadAlie/BrainDead. Just wall to wall gore, goriest film ever. Amazing.
Cannibal Holocaust. Extremely gory, and looks so very real.
BadTaste. Not as gory as BrainDead but still very gory.
Re-Animator. Very gory not the goriest of films, but fucked up still :D
Cannibal Ferox. Perverted splatter gore, teared apart limb from limb.
Toxic avenger. Cheesy, retarded but still alot of gore.
Evil Dead 2, dead by dawn. Alot of blood and Mutilation. Hilarious also.
Faces of death. Alot of hardcore real gore in this, I mean real....
I spit on your grave. Most violent rape revenge film ever, gore + rape :)
Last house on the left. Classic wes craven, very gory, disturbing.

Thats 10 from me. Theres alot of others I have seen with wall to wall gore, alot are japanese so Its hard to remember the names.
Add your faves in too.

Who needs to watch a film when you can have Wikipedia ruin it for you?

That bagman was amazing!
If those guys could get money for a feature length then they probably would be able to make the goriest film ever made.

Has to be BrainDead/DeadAlive. I first watched it when I was 9, I had nightmares about that thing in the zoo.

This movie is strongly on my to see list. But so hard to find. I only scratched off Ichi The Killer recently, and now old boy and BrainDead/DeadAlive remain on it D:

I'd have to say Silent Hill

Are you serious?

The goriest movie, that I can think of, is probably "John Carpenter's The Thing".

What's it about? I never heard of it. And is it something you own or bought here? I have the worst luck finding gory movies around the city.

That was more violent than gory.

Cannibal Holocaust looked so real because it was real. The animal killing, I mean.
The Last House on the Left is one of my favorite horror movies of all time. Not that gory, imo, though.

BLASPHEMY!!! Carpenter's The Thing remake is one of my all time favorites. It has some of the most brutal and realistic gore that's ever been created without CGI, and it's a hell of a good horor film to boot. I can't imagine that it'd be too hard to find. It had a fancy 20th anniversary DVD released a few years back so it you can't find it to rent I'm sure you'd be able to find it online to buy. I'd give you plot details but it's one of those movies that's better to go into not knowing anything. Don't even read the description on the box. Trust me on this you'll thank me later.

I dont have a credit card, so i dont buy shit online, which is probably why I have a hard time finding stuff around the city, especially when Im lazy. But if it ever becomes the case I do get my hands on it, I will do just that.

A group of scientists find Alien life in the Antarctic.
The alien is a shape-shifter and can take take the form of any living organism. Only fire may harm it.

I'm having trouble believing you've never heard of it... It stars Kurt Russell and theres even a PS2 game about it called "The Thing".
Based on the original, out in 1951, this 1982 remake makes great use of latex.
