To me the text is too small, and when you design a site in photoshop make sure the font is set to "none", instead of sharp, strong, smooth or crisp, that way it'll show like real text on the site and not be blurred.
The padding on the windows isn't consistent, the Welcome block, has an even spacing around the text, whereas the menu is further from the title bar than it is to the left hand side. The latest topics is also much more indented than the menu is, make sure everything has the same padding and margins.
On the background image the bottom right has a hard edge, you should fade it out into the background, and do the same for the top left as well.
You should also reconsider the layout for the latest news window, it looks very random at the moment, the text and image are just floating about without being relative to each other.
And Fusion Storm isn't very visible, the blue is too dark, I think making it larger, or positioning it in the centre and making it white would look better.
I'm not saying it's not a good design, it just needs the details working out.
I think the header's maybe a bit too tall. Also, the speck of white on the 'R' annoys me. Maybe have a glint on all the letters, or take that one speck away.
Apart from that, it looks awesome.

Wow, I couldn't disagree with you more. I mean, the banner is just a render with some basic brushing over it. The diagonal lines pattern is way too boring and repetitive. The pattern doesn't line up with the outer background lines. The background is way too bland. The colour scheme is overused. The entire style is overused, sadly. And when I ignore those factors, all that remains is a basic lay-out, with nothing special to it at all.
