24" monitors are much more impressive than 27" TV's, remember.

Get the TV. I hate wide screen monitors, in fact, I can't stand a monitor bigger than my 19" one. No no everything is so far apart and hard to work with. Although, it would be good for gaming, I suppose? But if not, plasma TV= better.

Also:

Tip over that monitor 45 degrees. Does it still work?

Yes!

Tip over that plasma 45 degrees. Does it still work?

No. That kind of thing is covered by neither warranty nor insurance.

But The TV would be mounted to the fucking wall. So how the fuck would I tip it?

Waste your money on the TV or wisely spend your money on the monitor its your choice.

Calm down.

There's:
1. Getting it home
2. Installing it
3. The possibility of it falling off
4. Possible relocating it
5. Any kind of shockwaves, IE doors slamming etc would fuck with it too.

1. Getting it home

I would have it delivered

2. Installing it

professionally done

3. The possibility of it falling off

bolted to the wall

4. Possible relocating it

The only cable jack in the room is on that wall

5. Any kind of shockwaves, IE doors slamming etc would fuck with it too.

there is only 3 doors to the apartment. The fron door and the two bedrooms and none of them are near the wall.
