Lost=Shit

I saw the finalee to season 2 on sunday and I thought 'wow what a fantastic ending'. But i've just looked back at it and it was completely shit. When it first came out I thought it was really cool, because of ploar bears and killer smoke but season 2 was just shocking.
1. No killer smoke.
Why the hell would they make the final episode of season 2 and not feature everybodies favourite character? It sickens me to think that I may not get to see him impale pilots on branches again.
2. Desmonds flashback: No point
Who cares about the guy featured in two episodes? All we learnt from his stupid flash back was:
He likes Charles Dickens.
He can sail. Well he can't even do that, he managed to crash his boat onto a bloody island.
His girlfriend speaks with an obviously fake british accent.
He beat his best friend to death on rocks.
Stupid scottish bastard. I would rather have seen the evil smokes flashback.
3. Nothing happened.
Come on, the most action packed moment was when they tried to shoot a poorly animated bird. That apparently could say their names.
4. It doesn't make sense.
There's one incredibly stupid scene. It's that one that goes something like this:
LOCKE: Hey, I know, wanna not press the button and blow up the island?
DESMOND: Sounds like a plan!
(They skip along, beat up Eko, and lock themselves in).
DESMOND: (Looks at random gibberish) I think I crashed your plane...
LOCKE: STUPID LYING TWAT! (Pickes up their only chance of servival and smashes it, then begins to punch Desmond. Suddenly forks start flying towards them.)
LOCKE: No, I was wrong! (Flying fork hits him in the face). Thisd msut be something to do with that four toed statue!

See what I mean? Also, why wasn't Charlie exploded when the hatch blew up? He's right next to Eko but he survives, then starts making out with that women in front of her baby.
5. The ending.
I thought it would be a cool cliff-hanger but instead we just watch Russain play chess in antartica. Suddenly they hear a beep and decide to phone fake-british-accent-women. Great cliff-hanger.

Unless season 3 involves cool polar bear maiming or evil killer smoke than there is no way i'm watching it.

I have to admit that Season 2 was nowhere near as good as Season 1. Hopefully Season 3 will answer some questions and triple the ammount of questions like it did in Season 2.

Regardless I'm going to keep watching because I really love the show.

yea i no exactly what u mean, its been realy gd up till that point. the final episode did suck abit compared to the others, and the worst part (here in the u.k) was the adverts (commercials) were it makes it look like it coul be all over when we all know series 3 will b out and there plaing to make it up to a 7th series if possible i think.

The finale was good but the Season was overall a bit disappointing. You don't seem to understand though. Charlie didn't die because he died behind the wall in the hatch, if any of them were to die it would have been Eko because he was much closer to the dynamite.

I liked the last episode. I had the attention span to understand what was going on. I liked your run down of what happened, but that did answer a question, what the hatch does and what happens when the buttons not pressed. And Desmond was cool. There needs to be some more characters because there running out of things to say about the current ones. If you don't like character developement and not getting all the answers, don't watch Lost. Its that simple.

I thought that after uber-magnets and white explosions, it was a bit of an anti-climax to end it 15 minutes later with some Russians having intellectual duels and gasping ('omg-ski').

I still like Lost whenever I catch it though :P

I actually think the finalee was quite thought provoking. Like when Jack and the crew saw the black smoke that they thought Sayid had made but we never actually see him make a fire and when we do see him again he is in the boat, so this could mean that the black smoke was the monster you love so much.

If you were better at making conclusions and analyze stuff, you'd know a lot more than just that, and you'd actually realise that the second season's ending episode is perfect.

You'll find out more later. But all I can say is, that you need to be smart to enjoy the show and really understand what's going on below.
