Ah! I didn't know this existed! I'm just so bad with dates and lose track of time quite easily, so this is nice.

I probably will, I have an A in the class so I don't think it's that big of a concern.

I figure getting wasted on the weekend has much fewer consequences later on..

I never actually played GTA 1 & 2, but I've played most of the new ones. Anyway, re-playing 3 is awesome.

You shouldn't, might get eye bleeding or something. GTAIII is nice, even for these 512mb-graphics-card days. (Gamers will kill me for saying that)

I heard that they're coming out with a GTA 4 that's based in Russia (I think). I don't know why there calling it GTA 4; Vice City was GTA 4. It should be GTA 8 (I think it's 8).

That would be pretty sick in Russia. There's a lot of cool places they can probably do it in though.

It is based in liberty city apparently with the main character being either russian or from a former soviet contry.
Russia would ofcourse be a great place, theirs more diverse and brutal crime their.
For one.

But they can never bse it on a real place.
Reason being they wouldnt get away with as much as they do.
The reason they do get away with as much as they do is because.
The game represents a fictitious "story" that dose not in any way represent reallife people or places.
;-)

Linkage to the official GTA4 trailer Bad accent and all HaHaHa...

But graphics are amazing google for the frame by frame trailer breakdown because you probaly miss a few things I know I did.
And if you havent play the origional.
I know it will be hard going back to the lower graphics.
But remember that game is simply fun to play.
Its not about a storyline.

GTA is definately fun even if it doesn't have a story line

8? Its 6. 4 was Vice City, 5 was San Andreas, so 6 is blah.

By the way, it would be better to be in Italy, hence the Mafia.

I like consoles, no need to ask whether the game is compatible with your PS2 - everything works.

Unlike computers, buy a new graphics card, buy a new proccessor, buy more memory... yuck.

How hot is hot? It hit 90 (Fahrenheit) something here last week, yesterday got to be about 83 or so once the sun came out. We had a nice cold front come in last night and lots of hail in certain places of the state came with it (not here, which was nice) and so it's only 67 degrees here and very comfortable :D

I'm just gearing up for sitting in the sun and roasting on the docks @ camp during the middle of the summer and getting sick from the heat, woohoo!

Response to Programming Regs Lounge 2007-06-06 12:59:26

Not that hot yet, it's about 28 C here I think. Plus the heat generated by my laptop and TV :P
