I recently switched to MX 2004. I have been having a problem while animating lately. To make it simple. I am working with linear gradients in the color mixer. I just want to fill a shape in with the linear gradient that I create. Say I have an empty rectangle and I want to fill it in with a black to white linear gradient. So I make it in the color mixer but I cant use the fill tool to fill my rectangle with it. Sometimes it lets me do this, and other times it will only fill in the solid color of one end of my linear spectrum. Help plz!

if this ever happens just use the fill transform tool and you can edit it.
