Can you say 'nostalgia' looking at that old layout?
distro-hopping in linux sucks. i'll never leave you again linux mint!
decided to make it more keyboard-centric. that's what all the elite hackers do right?

Yeah, I switched to openSUSE
I switched to Linux Mint a short while back when Arch let me down and I needed something to just work for me in a hurry. I'm finding that Mint is proving to be inadequate for my current needs. I can't seem to find basic software and many of my packages are out of date, like ffmpeg. And while some one-click install networking tools just work, many of them completely fail. Nothing in the software store app should just completely fail on any distro, and it's kind of a piss-off.
So now I'm wondering if I go back to Arch since I have a means of backing up my data now, or if I use something like EndeavorOS even though it's seemingly less mature than other distros. If I do go back to Arch, I definitely don't want to put a lot of work into setting my software up again so I'd like a way to install everything I need in one quick script.
The big things mint does for me is scanning, printing, and Bluetooth with no work on my part. Printing and scanning has always been a nightmare on Linux so I was super excited to see that worked when I installed Mint.
I'm at a loss but I feel I need to change things up.
The only things wrong with my laptop right now are the fact that several non steam launchers are in existence on it.

I don't have a desktop, just an ipad. I use a friend's computer but that's it.
I'm just one of those people still on the path of getting themselves out there in the world. If you're confused by my mug below you haven't read my profile. I point you to it.

Rare to see people still have let alone use CRT's in this day and age, that's for sure.

It's an AI-Gen in MJV4 + some Photoshop Cleanup via Content-Aware Spot Healing, plus some recolouring & liquifying.
Happy accident while I was mass-prompting some pieces to use as concepts/inspirations for a Dark-Cyberpunk DnD-like campaign I'm privately hosting later in the year.
I'll DM you the dump link to it in a sec

Because it's the most stable OS ever created. XP was where Windows peaked.
