I just got the $100+ program for free so I can work on sprites now... Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, its not a trial version either. I just found out my school owned a copy of the program so I asked them if I could download it then bring it back! It got some tight features... Excuse my grammar.

Cartoon--you don't really need Photoshop 4.0 to work on sprites. If you got it for free, no problemo, but Paint works fine for sprite-making.

I'd really like to join this club. I'm a huge Fire Emblem fan. I own Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones for GBA, and I've beaten them both. i beat Hector's story on FE and I'm working on FE:SS Hard mode. You know, it's really not that hard...

Cog of Destiny was definitely one of my favourite chapters in FE7. All I did was use Heath and Hawkeye to carry the lords and hide in the mountains, and use Oswin to carry Lyn and smash through the entire map. I worked my way to the weapons shop as quickly as possible, and stayed there while enemies piled up in a funnel-like fashion, lining up to do 0 or 1 damage to Oswin and be killed.

BTW does nobody read my posts? i already said that you needed unfreeze for animations, and i said you only need paint to edit sprites at least 3 times.

Thats good that means I got a sprite/ sig workshop now cause I got paint, photoshop, giffy, and unfreeze... Yeah. I'm going to see if I'm any good at designing my character.

Castle Pillcus-6:00AM

"Captain Ressen, get up."
Ressen struggled up our of the cot, wondering what his awakakener wanted.
"Urgh...wod."
Ressen's eyes slowly opened to find one of his seargants standing there, fully equipped for battle. Instantly awake, Ressen asked,
"Tarot, what is it? What happened?"
"The enemy army has resigned from attacking the castle for the past eight hours. We're going to attack them before they have time to prepare."
Ressen leapt out of bed and changed into his uniform.
"Where is my Killing Edge?"
"I'm holding it."
Tarot was holding the slightly purple-edged blade in his left hand (Tarot is a lefty).
"Give me my sword!"
Ressen hissed.
"Captain, a delivery came today. General Utroy received it and commanded me to replace your weapon."
Ressen's angry expression faded, and he requested the new blade. Tarot picked up a package wrapped in thick parchment from his belt, and handed it to Ressen. Ressen tore apart the package, and held a sword, slightly bent back at the tip.
"This is an antique sword. Why would someone give me the weapon of another man?"
"It is very dull, sir, but it was what came."
Ressen swung the sword and sheathed it.
"Then lead me to my men, Tarot."

"Retainers of Zillara!"
Yelled General Utroy.
"We are composed are composed of 8th brigade, the 54th cavalry, the Armored Knights of the Wall Guard, and 1st fighter's battalion!"
Utroy pointed his Spear in the direction of Claros.
"Today, we fight as warriors of Zillara, to destroy this menace! Attack their camp, quietly, but efficiently!"
The troops turned, and began to run towards the Claron camp...

"Ahh!! The Zillarans! They're attacking!"
An alarm was raised, soldiers hastily coming out of their tents to fight off their foes. A half-armored cavalier had gotten to his horse and was cutting down a priest. Ressen rushed to the soldier, and slashed at the cavalier's torso, except it didn't slash, it pummeled. The blow of the blunt blade acted as a hammer, knocking the cavalier off of his horse. Another blow broke his neck. Ressen turned to look at the priest. He was laying on the ground, stabbed with a sword in the gut. Ressen couldn't help him-he was already dead. He turned his attention to another tent, still dark. A mrcenary burst, fully ready for combat. Ressen quickly crushed the man's nose. Staggering back, Ressen's blade suddenly became light, and he swung two more times, both on the shoulders. The man fell, and Ressen made one final move to slit his throat. That sword was a Brave sword! Ressen had finally obtained one for his rank, no matter the dullness. Now knowing his power, Ressen ran into each tent, and quickly incapacited their inhabitants. He had finished with one when he was knocked over by an incredible force. Ressen rolled, catching himself on his feet. Raising his sword to face his opponent...
"A wyvern? No...it's a laguz! Claros must have beastmen!"
Ressen slashed at the dragon, who was black in color. He avoided its breath, which seemed to be laden with a thick smoke. Leaping on it's head, quite a small foothold (Laguz dragons are not tremendous in size-only about four times the size of any man), and brought the sword down upon it's forehead. The dragon did not seem to notice much, and grabbed Ressen. The dragon lazily threw him, and retreated somewhere. Ressen, quite shaken, was picked up by a cavalier.
"Captain, do not put yourself in danger! We are in dire need already!"
"What!?"
"Our unit, 8th battalion, has been ambushed in the flank! We are taking heavy casualties!"
"Ah!"

The Northern province and the Western province have allied against us and the East. The Southern hasn't made a move yet, they appear to be weighing in on the sides before throwing in their lot."

"In the meantime, we've been called to give the West a pre-emptive strike. The East promised to hold off the North while we took out the West, as they haven't mobilized yet...so says intel. Anyway, you and your Division will be part of a three division sweep aimed at the capitol. I want you to find Lord Branston. Rough him up a little if you have to. We have to figure out why he went and fucked up a relatively long-standing peace agreement."

"We move out in three days. Dismissed."

Ilnix stared at the marvelous creature before him. He could tell it was suffering from loneliness, an emotion he too understood.

The last Heron? For me to see it, I never thought such beauty existed. Ilnix was at peace just by looking at it.
"What's it like? To be the last of your species," Ilnix asked.
The heron looked at him and responded, "You would never understand. This makes me want to kill myself. But I am a harmless being, even to myself."

The room rested in silence for a moment.
"My entire town was destroyed, I was the only survivor. Even while they lived, they hated me... Don't think so uniquely of yourself." Ilnix responded.
"Tch." The Heron turned began to float away.
"Wait, what's your name?"
"I am Linia, not that it matters... you are not a friend. None of you humans are."

Ilnix pondered his position whilst resting in his room. This was not an attractive room. Cobwebs riddled every corner, insects were crawling through every ignorantly placed brick. There were plenty of books that were written in another language. Ilnix had been told not to remove them, taking away a lot of his storage space. He had placed his spare robes under his sheets, hoping that it would keep the insects out of them. His pills were tied hund around his neck by a thick string. He refused to part with them. .....This place is still better than my home....

Suddenly an alarm sounded. A myrmidon ran through the halls,"Code red! A group of hitmen has been spotted outside, they appear to be after the Heron!"
Ilnix rushed to the front door, several other men had already appeared in their battle gear. It was thirty seconds before the doors opened. The men rushed out into the open, cutting down every man in their way. Ilnix took out his fair share of men, but more of them just continued to march. The men were getting tired, even Kaleb.

They opponents continued to arrive, growing in strength and number. Everyone had fallen, they were too exhausted to continue. The thieves and assassins were starting to kill the fallen men. Ilnix heard a beautiful voice over the sound of blades. "sora wo aoide..." He felt the strength returning to him, a flower sprouted beside his head as he stood. He had regained all of his strength, he turned to see Linia singing on a rock too high up for the enemy to reach.

Ilnix continued to slaughter his opponents, bodies flew everywhere, and he was incapable of getting tired as long as Linia sang. After twenty minutes of fighting the final soldier was in sight. A black knight. Is that THE Black Knight?
"Tch! Another imposter, I'll take him out quick!" Kaleb rushed at the man, ducked under his lance, and released a Luna into the man face. He fell limp and immediately died.

There were only three remaining men. Ilnix, Kaleb, and Galagon the powerful mercenary in green armor. They decided it would be best to leave the small hideout to which Ilnix was none too accustomed.
"We think it would be best to take you to your beast bretheren."
"Alright, I assume you'll cloak me so as to avoid danger?"
"Of course, we have already prepared some long white robes. There a hole in the back for your wings, we have a backpack sewn into the backside. It'll be just enough room for your wings."
"I appreciate it. So, where are we going?"
"Lilya, all the way across the contenent."

Also since I seem to love sprite editing all of a sudden, I have done a small shot of Ilnix and Linia when they were talking. I plan on doing this after every RP post if there is no problem.

AArgh i don't really understand whats going on in this RPG. I jus tdont have the time each day to read every post and know whats going on. Could sommeone briefely explain whose where and whose fighitn who or something.

I'll have my time limited on the computer for another 2 weeks or so so i dont think my RPG posts will advance very far. You reckon i should withdraw from this one? End of year tests are coming up and i think they might be slightly more important.

They finally arived at a large castle but it was on top of a large moutain. "Why do these bird bastards have to live in such high places." complained Mike. The two walked around the moutain until they found a path. They started to walk up the path until the were stopped by two bird laguz. "Halt! State your purpose." commanded a guard. "We are here on a diplomacy mission from Tigner. It seems one of your squadrons attacked on of our villages." exclaimed Mike. They nodded their heads and one of them lead them up the path.

They arrived at the castle and the doors oppened up...
