Just remember when you're writing scripts or w/e that your main goal is to create an immersive world that sucks in the reader. I guess that doesn't apply so much to scripts but it's always nice for the animator if you cram it with details so they can stick to animating and not filling in the blanks. So at least go so far as to mention small things such as if it's dusty and arid or cold and barren etc. Keep at it though because the only thing that makes you better at writing is practice and reading (ouch).
