From what I read on <www.PS3portal.com> is that the PS3 is suppose to rule them all in speed. It is 32x faster than PS2, 15x faster than Revolution, and faster than the 360 as well. Since I have a PS2 I will most likely get the PS3 to play all my old games. The site may have some bias considering it is called PS3 portal, but it does list the CPU components in each system.

Yeah, I will get a PS3 for the same reason but I am considering getting an XBOX 360 this christmas (I'll still definitly get the PS3), the Revolution doesn't appeal to me at all though.

OK, someone stole Sonica and submitted it to NG.
I was soo pissed off because i knew it was stolen from www.flashkit.com and his previous authors comments didn't match (which did say, "I'd decided to submit my old game to NG, this is a couple of months old") whereas the game is at least a year old.

Anyways, I got pissed again because it passed the portal, and i looked at this pricks profile and he lived in my town! So i emailed him and then spoke on msn and he lives in my estate.

I'll never forive him for stealing sonica!

maybe you could make a game based on the chainsaw the children character and use the pointer has a chainsaw. its a pretty obvious idea but it might be nice.

The speed thing about the ps3 is only theoretical as we donyt know the revolutios power whatsoever. I heard that Ke kutakari said the ps3 will run games at an incredible speed of 125 fps. It is not known if tvs will have advanced to such a level of 125 fps. Another thing is that it is not official that the ps3 will have the ability to be compatible with ps2 and playstation games.

If you ask me i would say the revolution for me sionce one its cheaper than the other ones
Example: Basic package of Xbox 360 £210. Theoretical price of ps3 450 to 525 dollars. Revolution theoretical price £199.99.

My only concens are nintendo will die out just because of financial bulk with the other two companies one which could lose millions and not give a damm. Nintendo see that the other consoles will just keep on improving graphics to keep the "status quo"( quote from shigeru himself) Nintendo are making new and inventive ways to play games instead of improved graphics not much different.

My flash on my PC canonly handle 36fps, and my mobile phone flashlite can only handle 14fps.

Considering film is shot at 24fps, there is no point to have 125fps processing power.

you're not actually trusting a spokesman's word for what their system does, right? all of them are misleading in some way or another. I could say yes the new behemoth console runs games at 144 FPS but maybe that game is a black screen with a number that changes.
