I know I was shocked first time I saw it, it was amazing. Hands down the best flash I've ever seen. All of Phillips work stuns me. But the Brackenwood series is definately the best!

There is art and there is entertainment, Adam Phillips does art with amazing animations, Legendary Frog does funny bits with shitloads of tweening. It's all a matter of what you like more.

So... because it doesn't have talking it doesn't deserve anything but a 10 in graphics? Did you ever think something could be considered amazing and have little to no talking? So films that use silence to their advantage such as Lost in Translation aren't good films, according to you. You'd rather have something loud and annoying with talking animals and tons of computer animation? Sometimes subtlety is better. I like that there's no talking, it's more fanciful and ethereal that way. It doesn't make it some really cheapened completely fake slapstick disney crap with talking zoo animals. The silence encourages the willing suspension of disbelief. Of course, I'd come to expect negative views of his work from someone who spells like a retarded African chimp with a brain tumor.

So, you're saying that movie can totally blow, even though it has graphics worth a ten? Flash is a program to produce art, in form of an tweening animation. If people decide not to add a plot, but only have lots of effects and detailed graphics, then it would impress me more than a movie like tomorrows nobodies, but without the great graphics.

see, its like giving it a "10" for artistic creativity, not for stylish animated with great plot. Admit it:its plot is not a good one. But the artwork is superb...His water effects are one-of-a-kind...
still, if we are judging flashes overall, it doesn't deserve a 10. e.g. decline series.
most people give it a 10 for graphics, yet compared to Adam Phillips its sub-par. But its storyline and humour is really above all.

On the sound issue. Sound is nto always neccisary. I hate it when ppl put in sound or voices because they feel they have to. Silent films, or jus background audio is good too, if its used right and appropreate for the circumstances.
On the Numa thing. Numa spread like SARS not because it was artistic, but because it was catchy. Often very artistic things are overlooked for the flavour of the week pop-culutre stuff. This is true even in Hollywood. How many of you have seen Pollock? Who even has heard of it or knows who stars in it? It won an Oscar. It has a big name in it too, but bombed at theaters becasue it wasnt mainstream popy enough.
