I deleted a scene that akways messed me up. I await the results. Does the .swf file change if there are unused items in your library?

This may be kinda n00bish, but...
A majority of my symbols are "graphic"s...
Just like to throw that out there. I use it to preview and time everything...

There be the problem.
Increase virtual memory to four gigabytes and free up ten gigabytes of space.
Altr+Ctrl+Delete and take out prosesses that aren't by system or network.
The important once will restart on their own.
So far I have it down to about 12 processes.

you really should do a scan disk, defrag, etc.
clean up your system
btw i think you have either way too much bitmaps or way too much audio or both in your file.

It's actually down to about 60 MB. If anyone would like to take a loot at it, Id be happy to oblige.

You shouldn't need to use VM for your flashes. That would mean that either your flash is (WAY) too large or your RAM is getting sucked up by some largely demanding process or a bunch of little processes. Use Ad-Aware and Spybot, and perhaps Hijack This! to clear out useless unwanted covert programs. Try oprimizing your flash (that includes reducing the quality or encoding of your audio files).
Tried it. Besides, what';s the AVERAGE size for (roughly) 7 minute cartoon?
It should do it automatically. But i manualy increased it once, fucked up something awful.

I deleted the opening (sorry :( ) and all the symbols, but no luck... The swrf is STILL 15.8 MB!
There's another .fla on my hard drive BIGGER than this one, yet it compiled perfectly...
It was in MX 2004. Any thoughts?
