Where do you get that program that gets all the names of all your songs on your computer and puts them in a text file?

I tried Google but I don't know what they are called.

I heard you could make a large text file by using notepad. I'm not sure how you go about it though. But I'm almost postitive you don't need to d/l another program for it.
